Our farm is a business that is open to modern agricultural techniques, spreading over a large area with Blueberry and Aronia gardens. The farm owner wanted to make his production more efficient by remotely controlling the management of 6 valves and 1 pump station in his gardens. Our Farmer's Problem

The main problems the farm encountered were:

How Did We Solve the Problem?

  • Remote Controlled Smart Valve Control: The existing 6 valves were integrated into esular’s ​​remotely controlled and automatically managed smart irrigation system. In this way, the opening and closing of the valves became easily and automatically managed via the application.
  • Pump Station Integration: The pump station was reconfigured to work in harmony with the esular system. Thus, water pumps can be monitored, controlled and automatically managed remotely.
  • Soil Moisture Sensor: Soil moisture sensors were installed to remotely control whether the plant needs water.
  • Pressure Sensor Monitoring: A pressure sensor was installed at the pump outlet, providing warning and early intervention in case of any burst, loss or leakage.
  • Pool level monitoring: Instant pool level monitoring and pool filling tasks were activated by installing a level sensor. In this way, pool overflow and loss and leakage were minimized and eliminated with esular.
  • Central Management Software: A software infrastructure was established that allows all systems to be managed via a single application. With this software, our producer can plan irrigation and fertilization programs, monitor the status of valves in real time, and set automatic irrigation programs.
  • Mobile Access: With esular’s ​​mobile application, farm management can be performed from anywhere and at any time via a mobile phone or tablet. In this way, it is possible to access the smart irrigation system at any time.
  • Automation and Scheduling: The system is programmed to automatically irrigate and fertilize according to the specified calendar and plant needs. This minimizes human error, while optimum water use is achieved with automatic irrigation.
