What is an Automatic Irrigation System?
What is an automatic irrigation system? As Esular, our most basic answer to this question is to minimize human intervention and ensure that equipment such as valves, pumps, sensors, etc., used for the irrigation process, are managed and performed automatically by software.
With our automatic irrigation and smart irrigation solutions, we offer equipment and technologies that provide automatic irrigation solutions in open agricultural areas, urban landscape areas, and areas such as golf courses, football fields, villas, hotels, etc.
In this article, we will talk a bit about the components of our automatic irrigation solution and also provide some step-by-step information on how to install an automatic irrigation system.
What are the Components of an Automatic Irrigation System?
Central Control and Communication Unit
The components of an automatic irrigation system basically consist of 4 parts. The first component is the central communication and control unit that connects to the internet via GSM, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet, collects information from equipment such as valves, pumps, and sensors, and transfers it to the cloud server. The most basic task of this unit is to manage the entire irrigation system and ensure that the system works correctly and automatically, whether there is an internet connection or not. It has 3 different versions: a central control unit that controls valves, pumps, and sensors directly via cable, a short-range wireless control unit up to 600 meters, and a long-range wireless control unit up to 10 km. Among these three different options, we recommend the most suitable one for the irrigation area.
Wireless Battery-Powered Valve Control Unit
The second part of the system is the wireless and battery-powered valve control unit. Our device, which works with 9V latch solenoid valves, serves with a range of up to 10 km and a battery life of up to 5 years. In our device, which has advanced features and outputs for up to 8 valves, optional inputs and outputs such as soil moisture, pressure, and water meter pulse can be added internally if desired.
Wireless Battery-Powered Sensors
Another component of the system consists of wireless and battery-powered sensors such as water pressure, soil moisture, rainfall amount, pool level, ambient temperature, and humidity. Thanks to these sensors, the entire irrigation process is automated and made smart, and irrigation is carried out.
Cloud-Based Web and Mobile Irrigation Application
The final system component is our cloud-based web and mobile application-supported smart irrigation management software. With this software, you can manage the entire irrigation process from anywhere you want. With our application, which has many automatic irrigation and smart irrigation management features, it is in your hands to manage the entire irrigation process effectively.
Esular Smart Automatic Irrigation System Application Areas
In places where water resources are scarce, we reduce your costs with drip irrigation automation. Thanks to wireless controllable hydraulic valves, equal water distribution is provided to every point of the field, and all are controlled from a single point.
We make irrigation management fully automatic in modern greenhouses to keep greenhouse production at the desired level, improve product quality, and keep the pH balance under control.
In all your agricultural lands, we enable you to use and manage the world's most valuable resource in the most efficient way without the need for cabling or external power sources. Whether you set your irrigation scenario or perform fully automatic irrigation.
In landscape irrigation, we provide more efficient and effective irrigation by making valves smart. With remotely controllable valves and remotely updated scenarios, all control is in your hands.
In golf and football fields, flow and pressure values are controlled to ensure homogeneous irrigation. All valves and pumps can be controlled remotely without pulling cables.
Smart Cities
In smart city applications, we ensure that irrigation zones are irrigated on time and as desired with sensors that can operate wirelessly and with internal batteries lasting over 10+ years. No more sprinklers irrigating when it rains.
