Applications for Individual Irrigation Systems Support within the Scope of 2023 Rural Development Supports Have Started
The deadline for the Grant program for Supporting Individual Irrigation Systems within the Scope of Rural Development Supports is February 28, 2023; applications shall be made by delivering the application file as a single copy by hand to the Provincial Directorate (Rural Development and Organization Branch Directorate).
Real and legal persons, provided they are registered in the current farmer registration system (ÇKS) established by the Ministry, may apply to benefit from the investment topics specified below;
Installation of in-field drip irrigation systems,
Installation of in-field sprinkler irrigation systems,
Installation of in-field micro-sprinkler irrigation systems,
Installation of in-field sub-surface drip irrigation systems,
Installation of Linear or Center Pivot irrigation systems,
Installation of drum-type irrigation systems,
Installation of solar-powered irrigation systems,
Solar energy systems for agricultural irrigation purposes,
Smart irrigation systems.
Within the scope of smart irrigation systems;
"Smart irrigation system" for irrigation systems where the moisture content in the soil is sensed through placed sensors and controlled remotely from the center or via mobile application or through automation, and definitions of "project control officer, official control" and the operation of the system in the parcels belonging to the application, the performance of complete assembly checks, and the preparation of determination reports for materials used only in the field such as fully automatic filters, fertilizer tanks with mixers, flow-controlled fertilization pumps, solenoid valves, meteorology stations, and control systems."

Communiqué on Smart Irrigation System Investments within the Scope of Rural Development Supports;
Real persons and companies established in the form of collective companies, limited liability companies, and joint-stock companies as defined in the Turkish Commercial Code may apply as legal entities for their own lands or lands they will lease, provided that it is suitable for the fields of activity specified in their articles of association and contracts. Irrigation cooperatives and agricultural development cooperatives may also apply as legal entities, provided that their articles of association state that they can engage in agricultural production.
Applications may include more than one parcel and more than one investment topic. In case of application for more than one parcel, separate projects and discovery reports will be prepared for each parcel, and these discovery reports will be combined with a summary to create the application budget. 50% grant support is provided for projects with a grant-eligible goods purchase amount up to 1,000,000.- TL (Excluding V.A.T.).
