Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry
It is the ministry that performs duties related to agricultural areas in Turkey. Its general job description is to develop agriculture and agricultural production.
While it was previously two different ministries as the ministry of agriculture and the ministry of forestry, it was later merged and took the name Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. It provides services in a very wide area such as agricultural production, animal husbandry, crop cultivation, irrigation projects, and the protection of forests and natural assets.
Turkey is an agricultural country. Because keeping agricultural production constantly at a high level requires significant work and continuous support, the ministry's importance is very high for this reason. Intensive efforts are being carried out for the development of agricultural production and the application of new techniques in the agricultural field.
