Smart Control in Hydroponic Systems

In this enterprise, where irrigation was previously performed using a timer, irrigation could not be done properly, and this situation prevented the healthy growth of plants. Since irrigation done with a timer could not be adjusted according to the needs of the plants, it could lead to problems such as water stress or over-irrigation from time to time.

However, we eliminated these problems with the smart irrigation and automation system we developed as Esular. Now, we provide 24/7 access to Kinoa's hydroponic system. The system manages irrigation processes at the optimum level by precisely measuring and automatically providing the amount of water plants need. Smart Irrigation System

The smart irrigation system we integrated into Kinoa's hydroponic system can manage both main irrigation and germination irrigation remotely. The main irrigation cycle was programmed to be closed for 45 minutes and open for 15 minutes throughout the day to meet the optimum water needs of the plants. This cycle maintains the moisture level that plants constantly need while also providing water savings.

Germination Irrigation and Fertilization

We established a special irrigation and fertilization program to meet the sensitive needs of plants during the germination stage. Germination irrigation was adjusted to ensure the best sprouting of seeds, and the fertilization process was integrated into this process. In this way, seeds are ensured to have a stronger and healthier start.

Remote Management and Automation

The system we developed offers the possibility of remote management for all irrigation and fertilization processes. Thanks to our user-friendly interface, irrigation and fertilization processes can be easily monitored and controlled. The lighting system is also included in this automation process, and the light conditions needed by the plants can be adjusted remotely. Thus, the most suitable light levels can be provided according to the growth stages of the plants.

Automatic Task Manager

Other irrigation and fertilization processes are carried out automatically depending on specific tasks. The system automatically performs irrigation and fertilization processes at the most appropriate times by analyzing the amount of water and nutrients plants need according to their growth stages.
