5 Different Areas, A Single Digital Brain
Within the scope of the project, we divided our pea and tomato planted areas into 5 strategic regions. While comparing the plant growing in the shade of solar panels with the one in the open field, we offer the most ideal "recipe" to both sides:
- Customized Under-Panel
- Plant Standard Modular Under-Panel
- Plants Open Field Reference
- GCC
- Reference Open Field
We Don't Just Irrigate, We Feed Smartly: Dosing and Fertilization
One of the most critical technological pillars of the project is the Dosing Pump Installation. Going to the field and pouring fertilizer by hand or preparing random mixtures is now history.
Remote Control, Millimetric Precision
Thanks to the dosing pumps controlled via the Esular system, we inject the liquid fertilizer needed by the plant according to its growth period directly into the irrigation line.
- Remote Management: No more worrying about "I'm not in the field, what will happen to the fertilization?". You can start the fertilization program with a single click via the Esular interface and adjust the dosage amount instantly.
- Precise Mixture: Dosing pumps mix the fertilizer at such a precise rate according to the water flow rate that the plant neither remains "hungry" nor burns from excessive fertilizer.
What is Dosing (Fertigation)? It is the process of performing fertilization and irrigation at the same time. It ensures that plant nutrients are delivered directly to the root zone with water, which maximizes yield while minimizing fertilizer waste.
Our "Digital Eyes" in the Field: Sensor Technologies
While controlling how much the plant is fed with dosing pumps, we monitor whether this nutrient is working with the following high-tech sensors:
- NDVI Sensor (Plant Health Index): Measures the greenness of the plant. If the dosing is going correctly, you will see the increase in NDVI values on your screen instantly.
- IR Temperature (Infrared Temperature): Measures the leaf temperature of the plant. It warns us when the plant is dehydrated or stressed (unable to transpire).
- Net Radiometer (Net Radiometer): Calculates the shading effect of solar panels and the net energy received by the plant.
- PAM Sensor (Photosynthesis Efficiency): It is like the "heart rate monitor" of the plant. By measuring the photosynthesis rate, it reports the energy production performance of the plant under the panel.
Agriculture Managed by Data, Extending to the Future
Data from all these sensors combine with valve controls, water meters, instantaneous climate station information we pull via API, and Esular Remote Fertilization Control. The result? Less water, less fertilizer, lower carbon footprint, and maximum yield.
In this project we carry out in cooperation with Tat Gıda A.Ş., we prove that agriculture grows not only with soil but also with smart algorithms. With Esular, your field is always at your fingertips!
