Automatic Pool Filling and Irrigation Application
What is the automatic pool filling solution? How is automatic pool filling done? In this article, we will try to answer these questions. Our esular smart irrigation solutions are irrigation solutions consisting of sensors and different types of feedback systems with practical use in large irrigation areas, agricultural regions, and landscape areas. Our system, which includes many processes such as valve control systems, fertilization, sensor data collection, and pump control, allows you to easily irrigate at many different points. At the same time, we have battery-operated solutions that can transmit signals wirelessly, allowing your systems such as pools and tanks to be filled automatically with pressurized water, pump systems, and solar-powered systems.

- Suitability for use everywhere and in every way with its practical and durable features,
- 24/7 continuous active support.
How Does the Automatic Pool Filling System Work?
Fundamentally, the process begins with the detection of the amount of water in the pool. We use two types of sensors for this. Our first sensor type is the dual-electrode stepped type sensor. This sensor detects the pool overflow limit and the pool filling start limits.
Our second sensor type is the ultrasonic type in-pool water height measurement sensor. By measuring between 600 cm and 20 cm with 2 cm sensitivity, it shows the amount of water in the pool. It is especially preferred in applications where detailed pool leveling is required.
General features of the pool level sensor in general:
- Does not require wiring. It sends data wirelessly.
- Works with a battery without needing any energy.
- Offers up to 5 years of battery life under suitable conditions and settings.
- Creates alerts at critical thresholds and transmits status information instantly.
- Its structure that does not require wiring offers practical use.
- Suitable for Concrete, Plastic, Metal, Membrane type pools
- It is also used to measure at points such as channels, flumes, ponds, and dams.
- It is in IP65 waterproof structure.
- It is possible to perform manual reading from the display on the device.
Pump Control in Automatic Pool Filling
In field conditions, it can be controlled with different types of pumps and different types of sources. Our central control unit, which we have prepared, can automatically perform irrigation by controlling different numbers of pumps according to the status of the valves and the need. Our pump control unit can control both active inverter systems according to pressure and classic contactor pumps. In our device, which also has RS485 and Modbus outputs, the pump speed can be controlled according to pressure if requested, providing the best control without damaging the irrigation line.
We have 2 different pump control systems, wired and wireless. Wired pump control systems are the systems we mostly prefer and provide safer control. Generally, in this type of pump control, we perform pump control with our central control unit without using external equipment. However, in systems with more than one water source and more than one pump in field conditions, if the pumps are powered separately by solar panels or energy, in such cases, we can use our wireless pump control systems where we can control the pumps wirelessly up to 2 km. If the distance between the pumps is even further, in this case, we perform control by connecting our GSM systems to each other.
Our control unit in our pool filling systems offers both remote control with GSM and actively controls the pump to keep the pool level at determined values with a one-time adjustment and performs the necessary filling operations. The entire pool filling process takes place automatically.
Which Type of Pump Systems Can We Control?
- Direct control of single-phase, 220V pumps up to 5 amperes
- 3-phase contactor pumps
- On-off pumps with inverters
- Multi-stage controlled pump systems with inverters
- Centrifugal pumps
- Submersible pumps
- Inverters and pumps operating with solar panels
Pump Control Unit General Features:
- Fully compatible with different types of inverters and pumps.
- Can control more than one pump at the same time.
- Wireless control option up to 2 km
- Protection against excessive pressure with pressure input
- Can automatically adjust pressure with active pump control via inverter and Modbus.
- Provides practical use via web and mobile application thanks to GSM connection.
- Sends warnings, SMS, and notifications in cases of power failure, fault status, excessive pressure, and pressure loss.
- Provides practical use.
Valve Control in Automatic Pool Filling
Our smart irrigation valve or, in other words, our wireless battery-powered irrigation valve, as the name suggests, can work without the need for irrigation wiring and external energy. With our system, which can provide wireless control up to 2 km in open field conditions, we can provide irrigation without the need for wiring.
We use 2 types of valves. We can perform wireless and battery-powered control of cast hydraulic valves with pivot motors and hydraulic irrigation valves with PVC latch solenoids. Our valves, which we can control with a single battery for up to 3 km distance and 5 years, have low pressure drop. We perform control with a wide range of valves in the range of 15mm(DN15)-1000mm(DN1000).
Again, we use wireless battery-powered valves for the automatic pool filling process both from pressurized network water and to choose between multiple pools. In this way, we complete the filling process of the pools easily and practically.
Smart irrigation valve general features:
- Wireless control,
- Completely battery-operated,
- Does not require any wiring,
- Wireless control up to 2 km
- Battery life close to 5 years
- Practical installation and use
- Manual Control
- Control via display
- Very low pressure drop
